Open Discussion and Show-and-Tell: What's your favorite tool in your toolkit?
ATD MD Community of Practice Event
Hosted by your ATD Maryland Chapter
Friday, May 30th | 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. ET | Zoom
About This Event
Let's re-start the ATD MD Healthcare and Public Health Community of Practice in style! Meet new contacts, and share ideas and approaches to innovation. This session will include a quick meet-and-greet and then a show-and-tell where attendees have the chance to share a favorite "tool" they use to facilitate strategic discussions in talent development (tools in progress are also welcome). Attendees will walk away with a larger community of practice, and hopefully a few new tools to add to their toolkit. If you don't have a tool to share, please join anyway to ask questions and share feedback on others' tools.
About The Facilitator

In 2017, Jennie started the ATD MD Public Health and Healthcare Community of Practice (originally the Instructional Systems Design COP). Although the focus is health-related, individuals across industries are always welcome.
Jennie has spent 20+ years in human-centered workforce development, helping organizational leaders identify needs, scope solutions, and build interventions that drive their objectives forward. She holds a Master of Education in Human Resource Development and a Master of Science in Public Health in Health Education and Health Communication. In the creative realm, Jennie is trained in user experience design, applied improvisation, graphic facilitation, classical voice technique, and creative writing, and she brings these to her work in interesting and meaningful ways.
Jennie has completed many learning journeys in her lifetime. In 2004, she rode her bicycle the length of Japan (2000 miles). And, on January 1st, 2009, she left the United States to work her way around the world, coming to rest in Istanbul, Turkey, where she worked in higher education for 8 years. Her recent learning journey brought her back to America in 2017 to work within the U.S. healthcare system, which is endlessly fascinating, broken, and misaligned for positive health outcomes!
